Electronic Learning Committee 

Charge: Responsible for providing staff with regular updates of all related events for inclusion in the online calendar. This committee is also responsible for creating regular WIE podcasts, promoting Endoscopy on Air schedule of events in the online calendar.

Membership Committee 

Charge: Responsible for working with staff to recruit new members and retain existing members.  Collaborate with staff to develop new member engagement opportunities.

Social Media Committee

Charge: Develop and maintain a social media presence in all platforms.  The committee is responsible for posting weekly content to keep WIE platforms current.

Nominating Committee and Governance 

Charge: The nominating committee is responsible for soliciting interested members to serve as Officers, Board Members and Committee Chairs.   The committee should distribute a call for volunteers each year.  Nominations for vacant  positions will be sent to the membership for a vote as in accordance with the WIE Bylaws.

Affiliate Society Engagement Committee 

Charge: The Affiliate Society Engagement Committee is responsible for creating collaborative programs, projects, co-branding and other opportunities with affiliated  societies and industry partners to provide exposure and engagement opportunities for members and prospective members.

Industry Relations Committee 

Charge: Responsible for working with Veritas staff to develop the industry sponsor benefits.

GI Trainee Committee 

Charge: The role of the GI Trainee Committee is to enhance and facilitate the education and mentorship of trainees through inclusive collaborative programs and networking opportunities. The Trainee Committee should work with the Membership Committee to identify and recruit Residents and Fellows.
